This pie is so good! I made it with a ready-made graham cracker crust, reduced the amount of icing sugar by half, substituted real whipped cream for the Cool Whip and added two tablespoons of Amarula Cream liqueur. The filling has a lovely, light texture and is a perfect end to a big meal. Thanks for sharing, Michelle!
Made this pie following recipe and also added 2 oz. Bailey Irish Cream and chocolate curls for garnish w/whipped cream around outside edge. We really ejoyed this rich & creamy pie already planning to make again. Thanks for a Great, Simple and delicious receipe.
Rich and sinfully delicious! This was very much enjoyed by my family. Made for the Tastebud Tickling Travellers during ZWT 4.
This is a very rich pie. I used a oreo cookie crust and creamy peanut butter. The pie did not set up, it was quite runny - maybe because of the humidity?? Anyway - still had a great taste. Did not add any liquor, but topped with malted chocolate syrup.
The recipe delivers exactly what it says - easy, quick, tasty. I added some melted chocolate chips to the filling, which is why the photo looks a bit darker than the typical peanut-butter filling. I made my own graham-cracker crust, but if you used a store-bought crust, it could be assembled in 10 minutes.
I made this dish for my fiance's birthday BBQ this last Tuesday evening and everyone really loved it. I added chopped up peanut butter cups to the bottom of the pie to give it more chocolate goodness and it was wonderful. I used the oreo crust and garnished the pie with chocolate syrup and chopped peanuts. I'm sure I will make it again and again. Next time I'll try a little Baileys.
