    Directions:

      combine the orange, sugar, water, and spices in a large stainless steel or enameled pot.
    2. 2
      Slowly bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 15 minutes.
    3. 3
      Reduce the heat, add the wine, and slowly reheat but do not boil.
    4. 4
      Serve warm in mugs.
    5. 5
      Serves 8.

      My kind of drink...who needs something complicated during the chaos of the holidays anyway! This simple mulled wine was a hit with my family and friends. Will definitely make it again!

      I love this recipe, so easy and absolutely delicious. I used whole spices instead of ground. I'll definitely be making this again and again!

      This recipe is great! The only thing that I did differently is use orange juice rather than water. And I strained it through a cheese cloth before serving as the spices look quite "sludgy". My company raved about it!
