I made this recipe myself wanting some fresh meringue on an apple pie I made. really good, really easy. who says meringue is only for lemon pie? I have used it as a fun filling for Nilla Wafers. if beat for a little less time so it isn't as thick as meringue, it can be used as marshmallow fluff!

  1. If using whole eggs, separate whites from yolks and put in a bowl.
  2. Beat whites for 3-5 mins by hand.
  3. Put whites, sugar, and vanilla in a mixer and begin beating on speed 4 or 6.
  4. Beat for 15-20 minutes or until very thick, stiff, white, and creamy.
  5. Put on your favorite food or store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
