These pork chops were delicious!!! I used half the amount of oil and pork chops with the bone in. The had a terrific flavour and very nice and moist I grilled these on the BBQ and we enjoyed them with dilled carrots and a side of pasta. Made for Went to the Market tag game. Thanks TasteTester! :)
I loved the ease of these chops. I used all the marinade mix but only 4 bone in pork loin chops. Will be a very useful recipe to have on hand for the summer BBQs.
Made for Aus/NZ swap December 2011
Yum! I marinated these overnight and loved the flavor. So simple and good. Thanks TasteTester for a nice treat. Made for Zaar Stars Tag.
These were very tasty. Next time I'll probably add a bit more salt. I broiled mine in the oven instead of grilling. They probably would have tasted better on the grill but the husband couldn't be bothered. *roll eyes*
I used less sugar and salt (for our tastes) and thin pieces of pork loin, so you could really taste all the marinade flavors - it was nice and limey.
I halved the recipe as I was only cooking two chops. Only sub was red wine vinegar in place of the balsamic vinegar which I did not have. It's on my grocery list now as we love this recipe. Next time I will make the full amount of marinade and cook it down so I have some leftover sauce to pour over the chops. I'm going to try this with chicken. Thanks for a great, easy recipe. Ok I tried this on chicken and it's even better than on the pork if that's possible! DH loved it.
These were very moist and easy to prepare. I did have my DH put them back on the grill though because he thought they were done - and there was still some pink. lol We really enjoyed these! I will post a pic soon. Everytime I try it keeps telling me the site is down.
