  • 8 ounces manicotti, cooked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 34 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 3 cups marinara sauce

directions

  • Brown meat and mix with garlic powder, bread crumbs, salt, onion salt, Italian Seasoning, pepper, and 1/2 cup Marinara sauce. Fill manicotti with the meat mixture. Pour half of the Marinara sauce in 9 inch x 13 inch casserole dish. Lay in manicotti and cover with remaining sauce. Bake about 40 minutes in 350 degree oven.

  1. This was pretty good...easy to make and had a good taste. I did add some shredded mozzarella cheese on top. I do like the breadcrumbs mixed in with the hamburger meat; it seems to make it easier to stuff the manicotti. Thanks for posting LizCl!
     
  2. This was really good! I like manicotti but not a big fan of ricotta cheese so this is perfect without it. I had some leftover meat sauce so used that instead of the marinara sauce and I did add a little parmesan cheese to the filling and also on the top for serving...I think next time I will try a little mozarella cheese in the filling as well. Made for I Recommend Tag.
