This is easy to make and super good on ice cream, we love it! This was my mom's recipe from years ago.
- in a small but heavy saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and butter. add sugar and gradually add in the evaporated milk. Bring the mixture to a boil, slightly reduce heat, but, continue to boil for another 6-8 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly. serve warm over ice cream.
Was gonna make this the beginning of next month, but urge became too great & my chocoholic side took over & made it yesterday! Very satisfying for this sweet-toothed -holic, & we enjoyed it over frozen vanilla yogurt! Not bad drizzled on freshly made zucchini bread, either! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
