I've made this several times already, it's so easy. I only use 1 Tbsp sugar and it is perfect. Sometimes I sprinkle cinnamon on top too. Thanks! [Made for The I Recommend Tag]

Very good. I used Girardelli premium cocoa powder and reduced the sugar to 1 tablespoon of Splenda (as I think the cocoa mix has enough sweetener), and I thought this was a delicious cup of hot cocoa. I think the vanilla was a little too prominent in this drink though, even with the scant amount of just 1/4 teaspoon vanilla. But even so, it was a real treat. We enjoyed it. Made for the "Best of 2011" tag game. Thanks for sharing your recipe, Margie99.

Well, being mid May here in SC, raining, and 59 degrees out, this was a great cozy warm up for us. We used organic cocoa powder rather than Nestle' but kept true to the recipe. We both felt it needed to be sweeter, so I doubled the sugar. DH liked the bitterness of the cocoa powder, me, I missed the creaminess of milk chocolate. Overall a really nice and fast hot cocoa recipe, thanks for sharing.

My daughter and I loved this version of hot cocoa. It was easy, quick and even though it contains sugar it's healthier than the store-bought packets. I omitted the vanilla because I used vanilla flavored almond milk instead of regular milk. Thank you!

This is a great hot cocoa. It was a bit too sweet for me so next time I'll use only 1 tbs of sugar. Thanks Margie :) Made for Newest zaar tag
