Lennie! Terrific recipe! Hubby was so happy with his birthday dinner. I'm glad I bought an extra piece of salmon so we have leftovers. LOVED the sauce. Wouldn't change a thing. Next time I'll use the juicer though instead of squeezing the oranges by hand! THANX!
Delicious! Fantastic! I was very distracted while I was cooking and didn't even time it (probably cooked way too long!) and it still turned out great!! I did marinate the salmon in some orange juice, teriyaki marinade and soy sauce for a couple hours...but wow - what a great recipe! Thanks!
This was great, i did add 2 garlic cloves finely minced with the orange, honey and ginger in step one. Fantastic combination of flavours...great blend. Thank you so much
This recipe was delicious! I am quite a novice cook and this was simple to make and very appreciated by me and my boyfriend. I'm a ginger freak, so in my humble opinion, the amount specified was just right. Thanks!
This looked like a nice, quick recipe so I gave it a try. I made one significant change. I don't like ginger, so I cut the ginger amount in half to 1 teaspoon. I would like to try making this recipe again with some "tweeking" to match my tastes. Even cutting the ginger in half left too much of a ginger taste for me. I will eliminate it the next time. I also think I will try and marinate the salmon steaks in the orange juice and honey mixture for awhile before actually cooking with it. I may also increase the honey amount since I like honey a lot. Even though this had very few ingredients I enjoyed the flavor, except for the ginger. And it certainly was easy and fast to put together.
Delicious! A pretty forgiving recipe too. I missed the second half of instruction no. 2 and boiled the juice for the whole 10 minutes the salmon was in the pot, but it was still tasty and only slightly dry. Obviously by then there was less than half of the juice left for sauce, but what was left was plenty and thick, marvelous with rice.
dh really liked it, looks very nice on a plate and tasty
mmmm... yumm yumm yummmm!! I loved this. thank you so much!! I did add the juice of half a lemon to the orange juice to try to give it a lemon kick, but I couldn't taste any. At first I thought the sauce might be a bit too orang-y in flavory but I served it with a lightly spiced couscous, which goes perfect with the orange sauce. also, while cooking, it doesn't make the kitchen smell all fishy. this is a great, quick and healthy recipe that I will make again and again. :D
o my gosh i made this with roasted potatoes. my boyfriend and i loved it. he suggested we make it for our friends to impress them :) trust me, it will work lol. (we didnt have gingerroot and it still tasted amazing)
This was delicious! I prepared this in advance and marinated the salmon in the juice, honey, orange, ginger (and i added some red onion and garlic) for a few hours in the fridge. I cooked the salmon in the marinade and then reduced it as the recipe says. I served it on a bed of brown rice with red onions and orange added to it, and a rocket salad with balsamic vinegar. It was juicy and my boyfriend who doesn't really like fish, ate it all& loved it! Nice and healthy too!i would recommend.
