Went to a Hawaiian themed birthday party this past weekend and these were served. They were excellent and I had to get the recipe! The hostess had made them a day ahead of time and then reheated them in the oven the day of the party. They were tasty, sticky and delicious! Not overpoweringly pineapple-y but had great flavor. I highly recommend them!

Made this for a summer luau themed party today and the reviews were OUTSTANDING!!! Easy, tender, and EXTREMELY tasty. Used FRESH ginger and that brightened the flavor. Also, because of number of people attending (80+), marinating time was well over the 15 minutes suggested, but results were not affected. An absolute winner!!!

OMG!!! I can't beleive no one has tried these yet (or if they have they should review it to bump it) These ARE really easy AND really good. I followed the recipe exactly except I marinated longer because of a time constraint but they were excellent. I will be coupling these for my Christmas Eve appy's. I'm actually embarrased to say I first tried these in Aug. and just now reviewed them (sorry Dancer :( )Anyways, these don't have an overwhelming pineapple taste, they're a nice balance between tangy and sweet. You could even heat them up if you like with some hot sauce without jeopardizing the taste but I recommend trying them as is first. My kiddies loved them too. Done them on the BBQ (reserved marinade BEFORE marinating for basting) also done them in the oven (baked) with a longer bake time. This recipe is a winner Dancer. Thanks for sharing. :)
