  1. Heat a saute pan over med low heat and all the veggies. Cook until soft, a few minute.
  2. Add the cut up sausage and brown, 5 minute.
  3. Add the stock, tomato paste, seasonings and raise heat to med. and cook stirring occasionally until heated through. Add salt and pepper to taste. You can cook for much longer for a richer, deeper flavor (40-60 min).
  4. Add shrimp during last 5 min of cooking.
