Easy Green Beans

"Easy and tasty way to make string beans in fact I didn't eat string beans before I made them this way....and now I won't eat them any other way. Great served with London Broil."

  • Clean string beans& snap ends off.
  • Fill a frying pan with water and cook string beans for about 25 minutes or until tender.
  • Drain and dump in serving dish add butter and Seasoning and stir around to cover.
  • Enjoy!

  1. Like another reviewer I used two cans of green beans instead of fresh. The Montreal Seasoning really adds flavor to the canned beans, but I added only a tablespoon of seasoning; more than that would have been too much for me. And I always cook canned green beans in bacon grease, so I used that instead of butter. Thanks for posting!
     
  2. These were good and easy to make. I used two cans of green beans instead of fresh. I only added 1/2 tablespoon of seasoning. Really liked the taste. For me, a tablespoon and a half would have been too much seasoning.
     
  3. I steamed my green beans instead of boiling, but otherwise followed this recipe. The steak seasoning adds a great punch of flavor to the crisp beans and took them out of the ordinary. I served these with Pesto "Fried" Chicken (recipe #55836) for a simple meal with great appeal.
