What a great idea. I tried both green grapes and strawberries. I've eaten frozen grapes before, but this takes it to a new level. I'm sure this same idea would work for countless other fruits (I'm thinking of peaches especially--can't wait for them to be in season to give them a try).


  1. Place the grapes or strawberries in the freezer over night, until hard.
  2. Transfer the fruit to a food processor fitted with the chopping blade. Process until grainy but uniform, like millions of little ice crystals. Serve at once.
