Yum. From my friend, by her memory, as she couldn't find the recipe. I needed to get this out of my email and into a safe and accessible place. I'll update when I've tried it.
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄3 cup milk
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate pieces
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Place sugar, milk and butter in saucepan, bring to boil and boil vigorously few one minute.
- Remove from heat; add chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir vigorously till blended and pour while hot over 9 x 13 inches or 10 x 15 inches pan of cooled cake.
- It is important that you boil it for exactly a minute -- too short or too long makes the icing turn out bad.
