this is the same recipe that my MIL brought home from school. a fellow teacher was passing out starters and luckily sent one her way. the only problem that I have is that it says only the Amish know how to make the starter...the instructions are at the top of this page, so that didn't really make any sense whatsoever. other than that, this is a wonderful treat.person found this review Helpful. Love it!! I used banana cream pudding, and banana's in place of the vanilla pudding and raisins.....DELICIOUS!!! I will be making again...in about 10 days! =]people found this review Helpful. Made this starter on 3 Oct, & am waiting impatiently for the 10 days to go by so that I can make your Cherry Friendship Bread! Will be back to let you know how it all works out! UPDATE = Even though I'm slow making my final review, I did made the cherry bread on the 13th of Oct, & both this starter & that bread were a great success that I'm planning to make some of your other friendship bread recipes during the coming weeks!
