Very easy and very tasty recipe. I didn't sift or knead, used 5 Tbsp of melted butter, 1 cup of skim milk, and substituted dried blueberries and apricots for raisins. Turned out perfectly!

I found the review by Chef #579107 very helpful. I had made this recipe before and found it very tasty, substituting gluten-free all purpose flour and coconut milk or heavy whipping cream--my entire family loved them, even those of us who are not sensitive to gluten. However, after reading the Chef#'s review the recipe became even earlier & quicker to make. I love it & will use this as my go-to scones recipe. Thanks Chef#579107 for the time-saving hints.
