These were amazing! They were soft on the inside and a lovely crispness on the outside. My first batch didn't turn out too well because I dropped too big a spoonful and they ended up being huge blobs which looked cooked on the outside but were raw on the inside. I didnt realise this until after I'd finished and poked them with a toothpick. Anyways I threw that batch away And made a new one using smaller spoonfuls and they turned out fantastic! Such a easy recipe, thank you so much!

I created an account just to say how amazing these doughnuts are! My two-year old son asked for doughnuts for breakfast this morning. I was just going to make simple doughnuts from canned biscuits but we didn't have any canned biscuits. I found this recipe, and it's incredibly easy and oh-so delicious! The only change I made was substituting cinnamon for nutmeg because I'm not a fan of nutmeg and I didn't have any on hand. So yummy! A definite hit in my house for sure!

Oh yeah really good! I want to said thank u put recipe.. It really very easy and cook... So I was add it lemon juice 1tsp put in more tasty! Really good!

Wonderful! And so easy! I grew up with my mom making doughnuts every Sat. morning with canned biscuits. I loved them! And now living in SA, I can't get the canned biscuits. I have tried many doughnut recipes and some of them have been very good but I was looking for something easy and delicious and now I have found it! Thanks! Made for ZWT6.

These were simple to make, and similar to cake doughnuts. I was amazed at the amount of oil that they absorbed! I got 18 doughnuts that grew to twice their original size while frying. For ZWT6 N.

I made these today as Chanukah starts this evening. They were wonderful! The yeast doughnut recipes are too complex and take too long but this was terribly quick and simple. I added extra fresh ground nutmeg and they WERE incredible! I finished making them about an hour ago...now they're GONE! Thanks for posting!

Delicious and oh so easy to get together. I only made half the recipe. I used sugar and then also cinnamon and sugar for sprinkling, and loved them either way. I loved that it isn't just plain cake batter and the nutmeg added great flavor. Thanks Mama for posting, made for bevy tag.
