These were great! I read so many different variations of how to do these and this is the one I picked. Minimal ingredients I already had and a very quick appetizer. I like things a bit zesty though so I added garlic powder and cayenne pepper to the breadcrumbs and it still wasn't enough for me so I spiced em up after they came out of deepfryer. Yum!!!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are. Sign in or create an account

these were delicious, but I definitely had some trouble getting the egg to stick to the flour-dipped mushrooms. To avoid frustration, I just dipped my hands right in so I could make sure they were covered, but I definitely could've done without this step. I am a super-novice breader/deep fryer, so that may have something to do with it. I used Adobo seasoning as well as some garlic powder and cayenne pepper, but I think the breadcrumbs would be great mixed in with some Ranch dressing mix. Just a thought, but really yummy!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are. This was quite easy and also very good! I used a mix of breadcrumbs I had made up for another recipe which had orange zest and parsley, with a little Parmesan cheese in it. Loved them! Thank you Kitten!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are.
