"700 Five star reviews convinced me to try this dessert. I've tried many apple crisp recipes, and this will be the keeper. The apples are moist and the topping is crunchy, just the way it was meant to be. Found on allrecipes."

  1. I feel this recipe needs to be more descriptive. The brown sugar needs to be defined as separate than WHITE sugar in the beginning of recipe. If I hadn't been an experienced baker I would have wasted my time and money and it wouldn't have turned our correct. I took loop hoops and it made work. Wont use again.

  2. This is a good recipe. I used a larger pan, to spread the apples in a thinner layer. I think it would have been better if I'd left it as suggested. I'll try again sometime - thanks!

  3. This recipe was awsome. My whole family loved it.Other recipes that I have tried never turn out crunchie like this one did. Thanx Chef Dee!

  4. I love to bake and this dessert is everyone’s favorite. This recipe is way better than any others. It has less sugar than most. I doubled the crumble because I prefer the same amount of topping as apple!! Thank you so much for this awesome recipe!!
