  • Lightly spray slow cooker with butter or garlic flavored non-stick cooking spray.
  • Put onions and potatoes in bottom of slow cooker.
  • Top with pork chops, salt and pepper.
  • Pour soup over chops.
  • Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, until tender.
  • Serves 4 to 6.

  1. Do I mix the soup as directed on can or pour the contents of the can in the crock pot?

  1. I 1/2 this recipe because it does seem to make a large amount. I put 1/2 onion. A half a bag of the baby carrots. 2 sliced and diced potatoes. 2cans of cream of chicken, i hate mushroom. And a packet of dry ranch. Its amazing!
     
  2. I’ve actually made this for over 15 years. Just an easy meal, keep it simple or you can fancy it up. It’s great as you can add alter to your taste. I normally add a jar of whole mushrooms and a few cloves of pressed garlic. I also leave the skins on my potatoes as I prefer them that way. I’m actually making this today and decided to add carrots and celery. I use this same principal when making pot roast as well. A can of cream of mushroom makes a beautiful gravy and keeps thing moist.

  4. Am I just to add the soup no water or milk? Being that my husband and I are living alone with kids raised and on their own this is an excellent recipe for us thank you for sharing keep them coming it's so hard to go for on feeding 5-6 to just the 2 of us :)
     
  5. Uuummmm and so easy! I thick sliced my potatoes (1/2") on the bottom of a greased crock pot, on the stove I browned the chops well in bacon grease...yeah I know...layered them over the potatoes. Then in a separate bowl mixed 2 cans cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup of milk and 2 Tbsp dry ranch dressing mix. On high4-5 hours ( I got a late start) Great flavor!!!

Tweaks

  1. Added dry ranch dressing instead of just salt, pepper, cream of chicken soup instead of cream of mushroom and twice the amount called for.
     
  2. Awesome recipe! Used two onions and two cans of golden mushroom instead of cream of mushroom. I also added salt and pepper to the potatoes. Added a little Italian seasoning as well. This was outstanding!

Hello! I am a resident of WA state, and I must say I love it here.... especially where coffee flows so freely! I live with my SO, Mark, and he has lived here since 2001 (originally from San Diego, CA). We live a quiet life and enjoy just about anything outdoors. I love to travel... sometimes just to pick a spot on the map and make a weekend out of it. Since I have been here, some of my favorite places to visit are Oregon and Washington (Cle Elum, Leavenworth, Spokane, Bonney Lake, Maple Valley, Issaquah, etc). My favorite place in Seattle is Pike Place Market, even though I don't get there often. And, Mt. There was a question posted in one of the forums about who I would love to have for dinner, right now. I answered God, Jesus, my mom, Grandma Lundin, Grandpa Lundin and Aunt Sig. They are my role models in life. Each has molded me into the person I am now. My fondest memories are spending Thanksgiving and Christmas-time at my Grandma's house, and the whole family around. SO MUCH good food! I lived in that small city my whole life and graduated from high school just outside of town. I have a strong restaurant background.. everything from Pizza Hut to a local italian restaurant called Vullo's. It seems, though, I have a passion for machining technology, even though I didn't go to school for that. I grew up with a local manufacturer of machine/tooling systems soldering/wiring circuit bds and assembling whole systems. That wasn't enough for me so, I went to college and obtained my AAS in Electrical Technology. The same company hired me back to work in their service dept as a technician. I had planned to go further to become an electromechanical engineer for the company, but I was laid off. I have been out of it so long, I would probably have to start over from scratch.. .that is the problem with electronics/technology.
