My family all liked it. I made it on the stove top and served it over noodles. I added some broccoli to the pasta water and then added the cooked broccoli to the chicken. I think I would like a little more seasoning, maybe saute some onions and garlic.
I have made this recipe for years. I like to add in a can of green beans and cooked rice before baking. Very yummy!!!!
An excellent dish! I tweaked it a bit. I grilled some onion with the chicken and also added Oregano, Parsley and All Spice to the sour cream mixture. Turned out GREAT!
Definitely plan on having this again in the near future!

This was yummy! I added some pasta, and frozen peas & carrots and some milk. Turned out great. Will make this again for sure!
I used left over chicken from some soup I made and added only some season salt in addition to the pepper, leftover rice on the bottom, and before the topping I used some Shredded cheese too. Instead of a 1/2 cup of butter I used 1/4 cup and my Picky son LOVED it! So did my older son. It reminds me of chicken Tetrizini. I didn't look at the calories or cholesterol! Thanks
Well, I'm pleasantly surprised! I needed something quick, easy, and that utilized ingredients I had around, so I chose this. I didn't have very high hopes, but one bite and wow! My husband even said this was good, and he just doesn't like casseroles so I figured he wouldn't like it at all. The only person who wouldn't eat it was my 2 year old, but he's going through a really picky phase right now, so don't hold his lack of enthusiasm against him. :) I'll definitely keep this in my files and make it again and again!
wow...my sons gf made this tonight and I have to admit I was thinking...ok...not a lot of flavour....was I wrong or what....this was awesome....do not substitute the crackers...they were delish...next time we thought about adding some veggies like a fake chicken pot pie??? thanks for the great quick meal !!!
I used chicken drumsticks instead of breasts and I loved it! I boiled 10 drumsticks, used 5 for the casserole and put the other 5 away with the broth for another meal! I liked the recipe, but next time I will only use a 1/2 cup of sour cream and a lot more crackers for a more solidified casserole. Very yummy!
