This recipe is almost as easy as heating up a can of Campbell’s! I did not add in the Roquefort cheese because I did not have any on hand. I did add in a tsp of basil and a tsp of oregano which gave it a little kick. My husband loved it so I will definitely be making it again. Thanks for sharing!

  1. Melt butter in dutch oven.
  2. Blend in flour until smooth.
  3. Pour in tomato juice and stir until it thickens.
  4. Stir in baking soda.
  5. Add milk, sugar, and salt.
  6. Heat thoroughly.
  7. Divide into bowls and top with cheese (if desired).
  8. This soup does not curdle.
