Reviews

  1. This dip was delicious and honestly it couldn't get easier than this. Served with chips, it is incredible!

  2. I just layout the block of cream cheese and pour salsa over it.

  3. Super easy! Big hit at party. Only criticism, a bit runny. Next time using less salsa. I used peach pineapple chipotle. Mild, slightly sweet.

  4. This is a great recipe! We love it with Fritos Scoops. Everytime I serve it at a party, people just gobble it up! When they ask for the recipe I am embarassed, because it is so simple. I have also spread this on tortillas and rolled them up and let them sit for a few hours. Then I cut them in 1 inch slices and serve with additional salsa on the side. YUMMY!

  5. I can't believe this wasn't reviewed before now. We were really impressed with the great flavor of the dip, not to mention how easy it was to make. This will be a new favorite party dip.

Tweaks

  1. Try using a can of Rotel Tomatoes and Chiles—whatever heat you prefer—and drain the can, reserving the liquid in case you need to thin your dip slightly. Don't forget to refrigerate for a few hours before serving, so that the cream cheese has time to firm back up. Have made it this way for ages. It's delicious.

  2. I topped the dip with a bit of extra salsa at the end just for color!

  3. Added a half cup of chopped Spam, 1 toaster waffle and a tuna fish sandwich, soooo quick and easy, everyone LOVED it!!!!!!! Made enough for tacos and fried chicken as well!!!!
