This is such a quick and easy recipe -- it looks elegant on a buffet table. I have used all sorts of dippers -- marshmallows, pound cake, fruits, etc. You can also substitute white chips for the chocolate and almond extract for the vanilla. The recipe is from Southern Living.
- Combine all ingredients in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and cook until chocolate melts, stirring mixture occasionally.
- Pour into fondue pot, and place over fondue burner.
- Serve with assorted fruit or cake.
