This was pretty good. I added some chicken broth while it was cooking because the rice was very dry and the chicken still needed to cook more. i will probably be making again. thanks for posting
Ok it was a good idea but I used can of cream chicken also and a little more milk also I baked it for 3 hrs because the rice was hard so I added 1/4c more milk. After all my pain and suffering it was plain nest time im going to season the chicken more.
wow! This was so tasty.. I only used 1/2 of a packet of the onion soup mix. and I used Chicken breasts.. came out fantastic!!
An excellent recipe, considering how quick it is to throw together. Very flavorful, I added some fresh sliced mushrooms and chopped celery for added texture and the whole family loved it. Thanks for sharing.
I made this tonight for dinner exactly as stated and was not real impressed with the rice. The crusty bottom made the rice almost inedible. The chicken was good but this won't be a keeper for me.
I, too, have made this for years. The only difference is that I use a can of Campbell's onion soup instead of the dry soup mixes and do not include the 1/2 cup of milk. Just mix all three soups together and pour over the rice. It turns out great every time. Be sure not to salt anything. Easy and tasty!
We really enjoyed this dish. I used 6 bone in chicken thighs and they were so tender and juicy. The rice was flavorful and tasted great with the chicken. Thank you for sharing this great recipe.
This is so good. My sister-in-law made it for us when we were on holidays at her house.
