What a delicious way to enjoy a zucchini from the garden. I almost never use nutmeg but I left it in this recipe and I was glad I did. The saute time with the onions and garlic added a lot of depth. We will enjoy this again.

Oh my goodness this is good! We had company over and everyone went for seconds on this one! We just loved it! I used half yellow squash & half zucchini since I had a ton of both from our garden. I also used half milk & half 1/2 & 1/2. I upped the flour to 3 Tbsp & mixed that into the milk before pouring over the zucchini. The textures and flavors are wonderful and it's easy to put together. I even had to give over the recipe to the guests before they would leave! Thank you for a wonderful dish :)

I was a little unsure of making this dish and it’s not the prettiest dish I’ve ever made but WOW- I was so pleasantly surprised when I tasted this. I used whole wheat Italian bread crumbs, half 1 percent milk and half fat free milk and still had a nice creamy texture. I am always on the look out for recipes to use for the overflowing garden bounty of cucuzza and I think this will be perfect.

WOW! This made a delicious side dish for Thanksgiving. I bought swiss to use for this but ended up using the last bits from other bags of cheese as well. It ended up being a blend of swiss, colby jack and parmesan and it was awesome, everyone loved it. I will most definitely be making this often. Thanks for posting this amazing recipe Sharon!

This was easy and tasty! It was a nice way to use zucchini and the crunchy, cheesy topping went well. Thanks!

OMG, this is first rate-I want more! I made ours with yellow summer squash and swiss cheese, but this would be great with most cheeses. The onion/squash caramelized mixture is perfect and the gratined topping has a wonderful crunchy texture. DH raved about this and said to make sure I keep this one. (He loves RecipeZaar:)) Thanks Sharon for a winner:) I made for the Newest Zaar tag.
