A fast way for a homemade mac 'n' cheese sauce.
- 1⁄2 cup powdered milk
- 1 cup water
- 4 slices American cheese (use the "singles" individually wrapped style)
- Blend the water and dry milk powder briefly to mix.
- Simmer on medium, stirring constantly, add the cheese, broken into pieces.
- Stir until incorporated, salt to taste.
- Remove from heat and use immediately, or store in fridge for later.
