Easy Cheese Buttons

"These tasty german cheese buttons are a hit in my family. They are easy and simple to make."

• Serves: 4-6

ingredients

• 1 (24 ounce) carton cottage cheese
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 4 eggs
• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1⁄4 cup butter
• 1 medium onion, finely chopped

directions

1. Mix first 5 ingredients together and drop rounded dough on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
2. While cheese buttons are baking, saute butter and onions. After cheese buttons are done baking, place them in a casserole dish and add sauted onions and butter. Pour cream over cheese buttons and bake again at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
