Only 4 ingredients for this simple, but easy sauce. This can be chilled and reheated -- or -- frozen in small containers. Perfect for OMAC


  1. Combine 1-1/2 cup sugar and water in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat without stirring 6 - 10 minutes. Dip brush in cold water and brush down sides.
  2. Add remaining sugar. Cook until amber in color. Use caution at this point as the sauce can turn very quickly.
  3. Heat cream and add to sugar mixture. Use caution as sauce will bubble up. Combine well and remove from heat to cool down.
  4. Once cooled somewhat, add 2 T butter.
