I got this recipe from Kraft Canada website (or one of their magazines). Allways loved it, but the varation I use has crumbled OREO cookies in the middle, and always a success. (and simple). I usually use a pre-made graham crust if I'm taking it somewhere just so I don't have to worry about getting the pie plate back.
this is one of my all time favorite recipes, I also put the apples under the cheesecake layer, and make my own caramel covered pecans for on top, for special occasions.
Excellent. I took this to our Labor Day family gathering and everyone loved it. I took the suggestion of Bocce and put the apple filling under the cream cheese layer prior to baking. Topped it off with chopped walnuts and the carmel. Just great. Thanks.
I have been making this recipe for years and it is delicious! When I"m in a hurry I use a store bought graham cracker crust. I also put the apple filling under the cream cheese layer prior to baking. I use chopped pecans instead of the peanuts.
