  1. This recipe is sooo easy to make, and its a real hit. Everyone in my house likes soft cookies, and these are the softest. My favorite flavor of cake mix to use is lemon, but chocolate is good too (they taste like brownies!)

  2. Great recipe! I used yellow cake mix with crushed graham cracker, (was all I had) but turned out great! The mix was sticky so I chilled it for about a half hour, rolled into balls and baked for 10 mins. Turned out soft and delicious.

  3. Some of the easiest cookies you'll ever make! I like that you can make it all by hand and don't need any fancy equipment. They're so versatile and so simple!

  4. Just tried this recipe and came out great! Sligth changes, added 1/2 cup oil to a 15 1/2 oz. box of cake mix and had to bake for 18 minutes. Was a little crisp on the edge, but soft in the center. Going now to go to the store to get ingredients for white chocolate and macadamia. Can't wait!

  5. I am troubled by current recipes using 18 oz boxed cake mixes as their base. Most cake mixes are now 15-15-1/2 ounces. Three ounces less of dry ingredients can make a difference. Most reviews are older when 18 oz mixes were available. Just a thought.

Tweaks

  1. Oil 1/2 cup from 1/3 cup. 15 1/2 oz. box of cake mix. Bake time 18 minutes.

  2. I used a box of Funfetti cake just to add a bit of fun thanks to the sprinkles and then folding in chocolate chips!

  3. This is a great easy recipe! I used chocolate cake mix, substituted applesauce for the oil, and added in 3/4 c chocolate chips and 1/4 c crushed heath bar. Fantastic! Took about 8 minutes to bake at 9200 ft. Thanks!!
