My mother used to make a recipe like this when I was a child and I loved it. I have her recipes and had not been able to find the one she made. I found your recipe and thought it sounded allot like what I could remember my mom's recipe tasted like. I made a double recipe yesterday. It is wonderful and just like I remember! Wow, does this bring back memories. My husband loved it too. We have already eaten one of the pies and started on the other one this morning for breakfast! Thank you so much. This is so good and easy too.
Simply Excellent s'kat your pie crust is what makes this all the more wonderfully delicious, so rich and creamy. I have tried it with raspberries; and a crushed pineapple topping
