Easy Blue Punch

"I was looking for a blue punch for my son's birthday party, and couldn't find one that I liked. So I made this one up--it couldn't be any easier, and every one liked it. I used the apple juice ice cubes because I had them on hand, but I'm sure you could freeze some of the punch and use that instead."

  1. We made this punch for my son's 1st birthday party. It was great. The older kids said it tasted like the perfect cool aid! I did not use the ice cubes (mainly because I forgot). I had planned on using the frozen fruit and will try doing that next time. I will say that we had to wait for the icecream to melt to get the full effect. Next time I will make it about 20 minutes in advance. Planning on making it again for a boy's babyshower. Thanks for a great blue punch!

  2. It was a huge hit at a coworkers baby shower! We mixed up the entire gallon of Blue Hawaiian (Polar Punch), 2 liter of 7up and put almost all of the half- gallon vanilla ice cream on top. I think pineapple sherbet might have worked better, but all in all it was great, we even skipped the apple ice. Bottom line.. Easy, inexpensive, and a perfect add on to any baby shower! Add rubber duckys for the 'bubble bath' look, so cute!
