    Quick & easy beef stroganoff recipe that's been in my family for 30 years. It's kid-friendly and takes about 30 minutes to complete.

    Directions:

      Brown the hamburger meat and chopped onions.
    2. 2
      Drain the cooked hamburger.
    3. 3
      Add both cans of soup and 1/2 cup of water.

      Add salt, pepper, and a shake of garlic powder to taste.

      Bring the sauce to a bubble, then simmer on low heat for 15 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally.

      Turn off the heat and stir in 1/2 cup of sour cream. We usually just put a big dollop into the sauce, adding more to our taste.

      Spoon the sauce over cooked egg noddles. Enjoy!
