This recipe is simple, fast and tastes wonderful! It also fits in perfectly with my Somersize diet. I used cod filets, took Freda2Brown's advise and sprinkled with some dried tarragon, as well as a couple of cloves of minced garlic. I served this with stir fried broccoli with red pepper and mushrooms. This one's going to be a regular for me. Thanks Inez!

This was a very good baked fish. I used halibut and we really enjoyed it a lot. Although the lemon, butter and onions went well together, I think I'll add a sprinkle of dried tarragon next time. We finished the fish off with latke's with sour cream and a small Caesar salad. Good! Thanks for this one MizzNezz.

Made this the other night and followed the directions only using cod. I did use lemon pepper instead of black but followed the recipe instructions which are simple and easy. Served it with Pammesan Pepper Rice Pilaf#84873 and broccoli. Made for a delicious meal. Thank you.

Very good and tasty. I'm staying in Brazil with my wife's family and I cooked up a kilo of anjo fish using this recipe, it was a big hit. I especially love the taste of the onions after cooking in the butter & lemon.

This is pne of those recipes that sound too good to be true! East and tasty. It issimple and allows the flavor of the fish to be dominant. I used Basa filets. Served with rice, steamed carrots and broccoli with almonds . A wonderful work friendly recipe that will be used over & over Thanks MizzNezz for posting

Very easy and delicious way to prepare haddock fillets. I had some boiled potatoes to use up so sliced them and put them into the dish, added seasoning salt, butter, lemon and pieces of onions, topped with fillets and sprinkled pepper and parsley over all. Dinner was ready in 30 minutes. Served with broccoli on the side.

MizzNezz I already rated this recipe *****, but tonight I topped it with cornflake crumbs before putting the onion on, and instead of combining butter and lemon, simply put a teaspoon of butter on each fillet and then squeezed lemon juice over it all. (You can tell I had a big day! :-) Result- brilliant again! Thank you so much for sharing this great recipe.

What an easy, tasty recipe! I had 1 pound of cod so I cut the recipe in half except for the bake time. This may sound odd, but I have never used onions on fish before (lemon juice, yes, but not onions. The butter, lemon juice, and onions gave this dish a wonderful flavor that complimented the cod but did not overpower it. Thanks MizzNezz, this is a definite keeper. Kris

This was excellent and easy, and my very picky husband loved it. I used haddock and didn't add salt. Thanks for a great recipe!

Great recipe, you can really taste the fish instead of just the ingredients. I used Orange Roughy fish and it turned out to be an incredible dish. Thanks MizzNezz!
