  1. Can the recipes be cooked in the blue unisex EB Oven or does it need to be the EB Star edition

  1. This works really well. Even if, like me, you've never in your life owned or even been near an easy bake oven. I put it in the toaster oven at 350 for 10 minutes and it came out GREAT... In fact, I think I'll go make another right now!!

  2. First ever attempt at Easy Bake, 7yr old wanted savory not sweet that came with oven so we googled and tried this. Superb! Easy, edible, very happy kid. We have new style slide-thru oven and I’d read such bad reviews about it, so patted dough down well. All perfect! Thank you for recipe :-)

  3. Great recipe. Small and perfect for a four year old!

  4. This was fun, but created a terrible mess in my daughter's easy bake oven. The cheese got scraped off by the swinging door when putting them in and it was quite an ordeal to clean the oven afterwards. If you make this, pat it down good inside the pan.

  5. Excellent recipe! One of the best we have found for the Easy Bake oven. My daughter makes this for herself all the time...even momma and daddy get to benefit from a taste now and then.:) The dough rises up and is flakey and tasty.

Tweaks

  1. I was browsing RecipeZaar..... and BOOM! "Easy Bake Oven Deep Dish Pizza". That's INTERESTING!! So, I clicked it just to see how it's made. Then, my 9 year old cousin came, the big pizza fan. She read & immediately beg me to make it. I had an Easy Bake Oven when I was 8 & absolutely love it! My cousin & I used to bake cookies & cakes in it. Now that I'm 14, I'm WAY too big for it! But, oh well. No harm in trying though. We thought the pizza would be too plain because there are no pepperonis or stuff. So, we added "pepperonis". No. Since pepperonis are too big for a teeny tiny pizza, we used THIN slices of smoked sausages instead of pepperonis. For the pizza sauce, we mixed pasta sauce with a little bit of tomato paste & a sprinkle of dried ground herbs. The pizza was very good! Really. The "pepperonis" cooked well. It tastes just like the "real" pizza my dad used to make. We ended up baking another pizza for her mom. Oh, and her siblings LOVE it too!! I'm too embarrassed to say that I'm definitely going to make again! ;D

I live in Las Vegas. I was lucky enough to run into Recipezaar around Nov. 2000 and got hooked quickly. I am a cookbook collector and have been collecting recipes for as long as I can remember. My DH had to build in shelves for all my cookbooks! I like to dabble with OAMC and for a few years hosted the Budget/OAMC forum with some great people over there. Even though I don't work in the forum any longer I've set up a lot of cookbooks for the purpose of OAMC and stretching food that might be helpful. Please feel free to check them out! I go on food jags and cooking jags! Please come say hi to me and chat on facebook. I currently host a blog for saving money through finding deals and coupons if you are interested. Most of the time I try to cook and have a good dinner on the table but I'll be honest enough to say there is still fast food occasionally in the budget! I have had such wonderful support here whenever I need it. Thank you all for being here! Just a quick note on how I rate recipes: ? 5 stars - This recipe is perfect. (My DH is truly a critic and doesn't give 5's unless it's amazing) I would recommend it to others and would definitely make again. ? 4 stars - This recipe was good but I would change something in it next time. ? 3 stars - This is a recipe I would not make again but it was OK ? 2 stars - This recipe I would not make again and we didn't like it at all ? 1 star - This recipes did not work out/taste was unappealing and wouldn't make again
