This was delicious! Had to modify a bit because I didn't have everything on hand but was close enough. Used ground ginger instead of fresh. Would have liked it to be a little more moist. Otherwise terrific!

YOU ROCK!!! We loved this! I didn't have oyster sauce so skipped that. I sprinkled some crushed red pepper flakes on the chicken before I dusted with the cornstarch, and I added some toasted sesame seeds and a few drops of sesame oil to the broth mixture. I also completely skipped the veg oil, and used a couple tbls. of olive oil to brown the chicken in. Thanx for your wonderful recipes! Just Awesome!!

I was a little disappointed, this was no different than any other Chinese stir fry recipe I've tried. It was tasty, though, and the black pepper on the chicken gave it a bit of a kick.

Delicious! I used beef instead of chicken because that is what I had on hand. (super-thinly sliced).

We enjoyed this nice meal for dinner tonight. I did add the dried red pepper flakes when I was stir frying the chicken pieces. I will probably add a little more next time. I also used the 3 teaspoons fresh ginger and will cut down to 2. I used a carrot instead of the red pepper and we really liked that and I will probable double in the future. Thanks for another great recipe Kitten!

Once again another hit, Kittencal. I did add the red pepper flakes, however, we found it abit too spicy for our tastes... next time I'll only add 1/2. Used all other ingredients as listed & really enjoyed all the flavours in the sauce. I doubled the bell pepper portion also.

Totally agree with everyone else, very good, authentic tasting & easy. I used reg vinegar instead of rice vinegar, no pepper flakes because of my DF. Also chicken thighs as my guys prefer dark meat. Excellent, Thanks!

This was really good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written other then I didn't add any red pepper flakes as I am not crazy about things too spicy. I also didn't have fresh ginger so used ground.

What a fabulous, easy, quick and luscious chicken dish. I made exactly as the very well-written directions suggested. I didn't have rice vinegar and didn't have a clue as what would be a good substitute (even though I researched for one without success)and it wasn't missed at all. I placed the dried red pepper flakes on the table because everybody in my family has their own heat tolerance. I served this with a basic fried rice which was the perfect accompaniment. Thanks Kittencal for another awesome contribution not only to Zaar, but to my permanent cookbook. This will be a regular in my house for sure. I highly recommend that this be tried by everybody out there in the Zaar community. You won't be sorry.

I loved it, especially how easy it is =) Hubby raved too! I have a lot of eggplant at the moment so I added some - sliced and quartered- and it went well together.

A hit! Definitely will keep this one around. I was looking for a good stir-fry recipe to use up some veggies, so I added carrots, green peppers, celery, and 1/2 cup water. Also, I didn't have oyster sauce, so I substituted Adobo seasoning. Paired with steamed kale and Katjang (Spicy Peanut) Sauce - Katjang Sauce (Spicy Peanut Sauce), this makes a superb meal. Thanks!

I just made this and I am very happy! I used skinless , boneless chicken thighs cut into but sized pieces. I followed the recipe exactly but only added a few "shakes" of the dried red pepper flakes (worried about the kids' tolerance level). I added some extra garlic powder and soy sauce at the end and I can't wait for dinner tonight! Thank you Kittencal!
