Serves 4 as a starter
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans low sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup uncooked fine egg noodles
- 1 cup chopped cooked chicken breast
- 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and coarsely chopped
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- chopped green onion (optional)
- In a soup pot, bring broth to a boil.
- Add everything else except the green onions.
- Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until noodles are cooked.
- Garnish servings with green onions if desired.
