Whole family loved it!
This is a great recipe, very easy but be careful with your choice of bbq sauce because that will make or break this meal. I used KC Masterpiece Original and it fell flat - I couldn't get my 9 year old to take more than two bites and he is not a picky eater. Next time I will go with Sweet Baby Rays and see how it turns out. I also think you should be sure to use a sweet onion not a standard yellow. This is a great summer recipe for parties and get togethers and would also be good for football season.
EASY! I work nights, so I was able to start this when I got home it the morning and when i woke up it was done and the house smelled incredible. I actually used a mixture of 3 bbq sauces I had in the fridge and it was perfect :D
Made this using Jack Daniels Original No 7 BBQ sauce an it was outstanding! Love that it is so easy and tastes great.
This is so simple but so good. We cut the recipe in half and still had some leftovers. Sweet baby Rays is the winner with us too. The aroma in the house drove everyone crazy!!! This beats any of the already prepared ones in the store which for my taste are just too sweet. It went great with some steak fries and some jalapeno peppers on the side. Will make this again for sure !!!! Thanks for posting!!!!
Such a simple recipe to have on hand when you want a tasty dinner to come home to without a lot of assembly time. I used bone-in skinless thighs and served with coleslaw and we really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to trying it with skinless breasts. Thanks for posting the recipe.
This was tasty,I had too much BBQ sauce in with it and it overpowered the chicken unfortunately.
Had this with coleslaw on the sandwich it was sooooo delish!
This was super simple, but just like any other cheater chicken, barbecue sauce, onion recipe. Not outstanding at all.
