This is an old recipe that my great-grandmother used on my grandmother and my grandmother used on my dad, etcetera. A great and quick recipe that soothes and does the job.
- Put water and lemon rind in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Continue until the water has turned a yellow color.
- Pour the mix into a mug and add honey if desired.
- Drink as hot as possible to maximize effect.
