So easy I probably could have prepared this blindfolded and it still would have turned out perfectly. The milk was strained twice. Now what to do with the 3/4 cup of pulp...? Thanks! Used to make this recipe: Quinoa With Apricots & Pistachios (Gluten Free, Vegan).

Perfect basic recipe. I used blanched almonds which made it oh so creamy. They almost completely dissolved!! I used this in place of steamed milk in Vanilla Bean Tea Latte which made for a lovely dairy free tea. The only problem was that adding boiled water to my already slightly cracked blender made it crack a bit more. I would use this recipe again if I am looking for very creamy almond milk and don't mind the water being boiled, ie. not a raw recipe!

Nothing could be simpler! For my purposes, I added 2 tablespoons of sugar, plus I strained it many, many times. I'm using the almond milk I made as an ingredient in a coffee cocktail!

This was so easy to make in my Vitamix. I added some chopped dates for sweetness. I think it would work best to puree the almonds with only 1/2 cup of water for a while before adding the rest of the water. I strained it through a fairly coarse strainer rather than cheesecloth, and it was thick and delicious! Thanks!!

Great basic recipe. When I have the time, I soak the almonds in hot water overnight, drain in the morning, then proceed with the recipe. I also find it tastes creamier when I blanch the almonds first, but I usually don't have time to do that!
