I crushed my cardamom pods with my mortar and then ground the seeds into a powder, I also floated a couple of whole pods in my tea pot. It had a very nice and exotic taste and a wonderful aroma. Made for the wonderful Witchin Kitchen team for ZWT #7.
I used orange pekoe black tea bags and added almond milk to my tea cup. I also made a large batch in my sun tea jar. Flavor was fantastic and very exotic. Thanks for posting! Made for Veg 'n Swap tag!
I used Earl Grey, something that I always keep on hand, and sweetened lightly with Splenda. Loved the cardamom added, it really added that something extra. I enjoyed this very much.
Great cup of tea! I love cardamom and would actually even add more next time. Made with Earl Grey, but going to try with Irish Breakfast tea also!
I am loving this tea! i used Ajiri Kenyan black tea (loose) & lightly crushed the cardamom pods with my mortar & pestle.i sweetened it slightly with honey & added just a small amount of milk. delicious! thank you! made for ZWT7.
I really enjoyed this flavorful tea. I love cardamom. I let it steep for 15 minutes for a full bodied pot of gold. The honey was a nice addition. Made for ZWT 7 Witchin Kitchen
Made this pretty much as given, with Earl Grey, 1 tablespoon of honey per final cup, & with milk with 2% fat! Very enjoyable cup-a-tea, we thought! Thanks for sharing the recipe! [Tagged & made in Please Review My Recipe]
MMhh! Enjoyed this tea with milk; trying it hot and chilled. I used black Indian tea and the sugar option.
Cardamon is one of my favorite spices and this combination is something sooo simple but sooo good! Thanks a lot for posting this recipe and let know the people how they can prepare such a great drink!
