I don't remember where I got this, but nothing could be any easier or quicker! My baby brother eats a pound all by himself!
- 2 lbs easy peel large shrimp, unpeeled, thawed if frozen and rinsed
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle beer
- 1 quart water
- Bring water and beer to a boil.
- Add shrimp, cover and immediately remove from heat.
- Leave lid on for 7 minutes, drain shrimp and plunge into ice water to stop cooking.
- Serve cold.
- The shrimp come out so sweet and tender!
