  2. My family really liked this. Two of us don't like the ricotta or cottage cheese in most lasagnas. Two of us kind of missed that part, but still liked it. I made this even easier by using 3 Tbs. dehydrated minced onion & 3 Tbs. water for that layer. The cooking time was on the money for me. Thanks for posting.

  3. This was quick. easy and tasty. I was leary about putting raw hamburg in but it cooked up fine. I used onion powder instead of onions because of my kids. Baking time for me really needed adjusted though. I let it cook for an hour before checking and it was already done and a bit burnt. It was still good and will definately make again. I also had a jar 26 ounce jar of spaghetti sauce so added an 8 ounce can of tomato sauce. Made for Fall PAC 2007.

  4. I used a 25 oz jar of organic spaghetti sauce, so I added 1 (8 oz) can of tomato sauce for the bottom layer. Since we don't eat beef, I used a 12 oz package of soy crumbles and added 1/2 C of TVP (soaked in water). I bought a pkg of 11 thin slices of mozzarrella and felt it could really use 12. Even with the meat sub., my kids devoured the lasagna! In my case, next time, I would reduce the second bake to 20 minutes, but that may not apply for a recipe with the raw ground beef. It got a little too brown. Although I did make it earlier in the day and it sat for a few hours. This is going in my recipes! Thanks!
