this is soooo easy, and my kids love it. just 5 mins prep time and forget about it
- 1 (3 lb) beef brisket
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 package onion soup mix
- preheat oven to 300.
- in heavy duty tinfoil place brisket.
- cover with dry soup mix and canned soup.
- cover tightly, put in baking dish.
- bake 4 hours, remove.
- pour off gravy and shred with 2 forks.
- serve over rice, noodles or potatoes.

Wonderful!! and versitile... I have used this and the variation submitted by Oolala 2ce and could not be more pleased. The meat is juicy, tender, and flavorful and can be used with the gravy for rice, pasta, or potatoes, it is great for sandwiches as is or with the additon of barbeque sauce!! Also very economical! Brisket is a relatively reasonable cut of meat and this produces enough for several meals! A++++
This is the same as my recipe, except mine calls for 1/2 a small bottle of Italian Salad dressing, and 8 to 10 oz of brown gravy. It's wonderful!
