ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 1⁄2 cup caster sugar
- 5 apples (peeled, cored & sliced like chips, not too thin )
- 1 1⁄2 cups self-rising flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon, and
- 2 tablespoons caster sugar, mixed together
directions
- Beat egg whites till doubled in volume,.
- then add all the other ingredients, except for the flour and apples.
- & cinnamon sugar,mix,.
- add flour and stir in some apples, leave some for topping.
- Put in 8'' round baking pan.
- Arrange the rest of the apples on top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake 400.F.

I live in a country town, about 40 mins from Melbourne. We have a lovely property of 7 acres with a large garden,my area of the garden that l love to plant and look after are the flowers and shrubbery, my husband usually plants the vegetables and the trees.My hobbies are baking and gardening as you may have gathered.I have 3 beautiful grandchildren that are still babies and 2 grown up sons , that still ask me to bake them something nice and bring it when l come over, which l usually in the winter months , but summer is for going out and enjoying in my garden.
