This is a GREAT recipe! It was the hit of our Easter dinner.....everyone said it was a definite make again. I did as one reviewer suggested and sprinkled chocolate chips over the top and it was a great addition. This was rich, chocolately and really yummy!

Delicious! This is the perfect answer for those times when you need a dessert that is super easy to make! Who would think a recipe so easy would make for not only an empty pan but recipe requests as well! I made as posted and watched the dollops (thanks for the tip MysteryGirl) Thank you Peppermintkitty for another of your recipes that we have enjoyed! Its a keeper.

this is by far my all time favorite choc. cake. I have taken this to pot lucks at work and have seen seven people stand in line for a piece of this wanderful cake.

High 5's for this cake! This is delicious! Moist, gooey, coconutty chocolate! Please do heed MysteryGirl's advice about the dollops. Make sure there is cake batter between the dollops and the side of the pan! If you are worried about how it looks when you serve it, just put your servings with the earthquake side down, then the gooey coconut layer will show! Thanks peppermintkitty!

I baked this recipe for the first time last night and it was fantastic. I cannot wait to bake it for the Christmas Holidays. My husband who is my biggest critic, loved it. Don't get impatient, it really takes over an hour to bake this cake. I did sprinkle chocolate chips over the cream cheese dollops and it enhanced the taste.(Not that it needed any help), but I love to experiment and try to make things better. Try it, you will love this cake!

Kitty, my Dear, this one takes the "cake"! Absolutely delicious! And how much easier can it get? I used a little larger rectangular roasting pan, and it raised right up there ... didn't form deep crevices like I thought it would. No problem, it turned out gooey, chocolatey, and yummie, no matter what! And, with all the good stuff in the middle, it definitely is moist! Great recipe, Hon! I will make this one again! Thanks for sharing, Laudee

This is soooo rich and gooey. I will warn people to not put the cream cheese dollops too close to the edge of the pan as they will poof up and over the sides if you're not careful. Very tasty.
