I used King Arthur's White Whole Wheat flour and decreased the sugar to 1/4c. I used this in place of Bisquick. It was EXCELLENT!
adjusted recipe to 32 servings and it made exactly 16 cups :) Great mix thanks!!
This is a great mix! I don't really buy packaged mixes, but I sometimes have recipes that call for bisquick that I don't make because I never have any. The only changes I made was to use whole wheat pastry flour for the all purpose, and Splenda for the sugar. My husband says this makes the BEST pancakes, and he's very picky, so that's a complement indeed! Thanks for the recipe!
I made used this recipe as per the back of the Bisquick box. 2 c. mix, 1 1/3 c. milk, 2 Tbsp. oil, 1 egg. Made 6 delicious, fluffy belgian waffles. Thanks!
This worked out quite well. I used Splenda instead of sugar, and the pancakes made from the mix were awesome! I hate buying packaged products and greatly appreciated the recipe. :)
Finally a dry mix I can throw together, store in freezer and use as needed. I added less than half the salt indicated in this recipe. I cut the sugar by almost half, too.
I appear to be the only dissenter on this one. I halved the recipe and used only 3/8 cup of sugar and made some biscuits with it. I thought they were much too sweet and the texture was off. Thanks for posting, though.
This recipe worked out great for substitution & being a leaner version of Bisquick. Thanks!
This came together easily from pantry items and tasted great in Easy Bisquick Chicken Pot Pie. I will be happy to have this on hand. Thanks Aroostook.
This was great!I like everything and have used it only for one thing but will use it for more.
