Yum. We love Martin Yan's recipes and this was lovely. I particularly loved the way the sesame and hoisin came through - enough that you could identify them, but not too much of each to dominate the flavour. Thanks, Mercy!
yum yum yum... It is soo juicy! I find that while frying (open pan), the juice in the burger tend to shrink the width of the burger, thus I would recommend shaping them extra wide for when they puff up.
This was arguably the best burger I've ever eaten
This was arguably the best burger I've ever eaten. I subsituted ground chicken for the beef, and added a bit more of each of the seasonings. Also, try adding some of the barbecue sauce while grilling the burgers. It was quick and easy, and alot tastier than anything you'll find at your local burger joint. Thumbs up Martin Yan.
