  1. Crumb Topping:.
  2. Mix ingredients together and set aside.
  3. Filling:.
  4. In large bowl combine all ingredients except apples and lemon juice.
  5. Put water in large bowl and add lemon juice.
  6. Peal, core and thinly slice apples (about 4 large) and place in bowl with lemon juice. Swish around and then place slices in strainer to drain water.
  7. Add apples to large bowl and stir until apples are well coated.
  8. Pour in your favorite pie crust.
  9. Bake at 425 for 40 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
