Tasty! I used a mason jar & hand blender. What I did is put in the amount of coffee requested as water, drop 1 Tbls of instant coffee, shake the mason jar, add 3 Tbls sugar, add the milk, but trade out 1/4 cup of it for coffee cream. I then put in the ice & blended. Yummy. Next time I'll reduce the milk/cream amount by 1/4 cup because I think it overpowered the coffee flavor too much. The almond extract really helped the flavor & I used the chocolate, but didn't have hazelnut syrup. Might add some kahlua next time.
Used some of the coffee to make the ice cubes and used half and half instead of milk to make it a little thicker. Excellent recipe!!!!
This was a delicious coffee Michelle _My_Belle. I really enjoyed this flavorful iced coffee. It was light, refreshing, sweet, thick and creamy. I used all the optional ingredients, yum. I garnished with whipped cream, drizzle of chocolate sauce and a marashino cherry. Thanks for sharing your treat.
This was disgusting! Not even close to Dunkins-What a disappointment! Nice try anyways though! :)
Wow, this was just as good as dunkin donuts yet I made it without all that sugar. I used expresso and soy milk. Also used splenda hazelnut flavor packets and torani sugar free hazelnut syrup. This was really really good and I highly recommend trying. Im sure this is amazing if you use real sugar too. Thanks so much for posting!!!!
These were great with our muffins. They could soon become addicting!
I treat myself to a flavored coffee drink on Fridays after work, and this one hit the spot! I made as written except for using Splenda instead of sugar (and only half the amount) The 2 minutes in the blender made it "thicken" up by making it frothy. Never been to a Dunkin Donuts so can't compare, but I thought it was great! Thanks for a addition to my Friday repertoire.
This was wonderful! I will definitely be making this one again. I used a hazelnut coffee and splenda in place of the sugar. I did use the chocolate syrup, but realized didn't have almond extract. I might try caramel syrup next time. Thanks for the great recipe!
I made this for a late breakfast, after going to the store. This was really delicious and I felt like I had bought this at Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. I had made coffee earlier and then put 3/4 cup in the refrigerator to cool, which was my mistake, as it wasn't twice the amount of coffee stated in the directions. I used 2% milk, 1 packet nutrasweet, vanilla and the chocolate syrup. I had to add more ice than directed in order to get the right consistency, but that was no problem. Thanks for a great frozen coffee drink!!!
